Thank you so much for what you do! And for sharing your knowledge with us. Im from Puerto Rico and i dont speak english so well but i still watching your videos because you speak really slow and easy to learn. You are the best teacher, and very funny too :) Thanks!

  • Alexis from Nevada, US:

I just thought you’d like to know that I had watched a few of your videos and found them hilarious, Im glad to report that once I sit down to play a piano I will not let the people get eaten by the aligators, and the bridge will be intact, incase you’ve forgotten, you made some metaphor about the posture of the hand and it should be like a bridge, and you have to pretend there’s people on it.

I can gladly say that you would definitely fit in with my friends and I, I first watched your video with my friend. She had told me that you said you thought of the Bass and Treble clef as male and female, I figured it made sense considering one is high and one is low, and if that wasn’t the reason, now you have and excuse (ha.) anyway, the reason this intrigued me is because, I had once said that I thought of washers and dryers as male and female, and when asked I had a ready answer of “I think of them as one species.” it’s actually one of my favorite memories. :)

I guess this is to tell you that you and your randomness are not alone. And if you ever come to Southern Nevada, you certainly have 2 people you will definitely fit in with….

PS. I actually learned things from your videos and wish that I had a teacher that acted like you. Im sure your students don’t know how blessed they are to have someone so funny and creative as their teacher.

  • I was about 10, when I started playing harmonica by ear, then at the age of 14, played organ at church (by ear), a friend gave me a 20-minute class on notes, and that was it! He had promissed to teach me every week, but didn’t happened. I was always thirsty to have a teacher with patience to get back to reading notes. I’m sure you know once you play with ear, it’s hard to learn notes.
However, once I saw you sessions here, I felt my dreams had come true. You are amazing! You are blessed and so whoever you meet or watches your videos. You bring the kid out of me (or everyone), and so humbly express your taughts into ours and make music so simple to understand.
I have been studying with your lessons since last week, and I think in a short time, I will be reading music and playing piano as I had always dreamed.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH ANDREW :)

I don’t know whether or not I should be as weirded out that I look EYE-DENT-TICKLE to you (*pst, identical!) sans the crazy straight up hair. And you’re only a year older than me? Wazzup with that?

Really love and appreciate your videos, you get a little silly at times. Haven’t picked up a keyboard in a decade and stumbled across one of your instructional videos on youtube and you’ve sparked my want to play again. Music is a gift to the world and you producing and making videos for those unable to gain access or those that casually intend to play is amazing. Keep it up!

  • Wow. You are truly a genius. And a very kind one at that! I really don’t know why you are sharing with all of us your knowledge for free, but people like you inspire others like me to help people in anything I can for free! Please, keep up, the great work, and G-d bless you!

When I’ll be somewhat financially stable I will definitely support you in your cause!
